My Childhood Toy


        Another blog post for school, yay.......
        When I was a little kid in my home state of Mississippi, things were always just okay back then. I'd always watch VHS tapes, I didn't really watched TV.
         But, one day when I was in Kindergarten, I went to the usual discount store that you can find in any small town. It was where you could find antiques on a low price, along with other things like stuffed dolls, broken down bikes, and more. But, when we were there that day. I found a My Little Pony bag filled with original toy ponies, but it wasn't just 1 or 10. There were more than 30.
         I was really excited, very excited. I went to my grandparents and showed it to them. They were surprised to find that it was on a really good discount, so they got it for me.
         Since that day I played with those ponies, and got more later. Some were from newer toy sets, others were older. But, they were fun none of the less. I used them to make stories with, since my family was away most of the time. They were my company, the friends that I could make with just my imagination and little kid mind. I would make a story where a Unicorn rebelled from the Magic Family, after being replaced by another unicorn. If I had two ponies that looked alike, I'd make them twins and have them have conflict.
         Thanks to those ponies, I learned something for my life. Anything can be a story, you can make little world to escape in when times are terrible, and life just wants to punch you in the face. It taught me that, and when I am alone, I can always find a new story or make a story.
         I suppose that relates to my own way of life. Imagination is great, but it is the best as a best friend.

    I used to play with my little pony when I was little too, I loved making the stories and watching how I made the stories unfold. Unfortunately I never was alone while playing, I have two younger siblings who always wanted play.

      Whelp, I was alone 99% of the time. It is nice to know someone else played with My Little Ponies the same way.

My graduation speech
