Six of Crows/Spoilers/No spoilers.

I don't care about the fact that I am making this with spoilers, and without spoilers. I love this book, especially since I enjoyed a show called Leverage(Highly recommend)(I might do a review on it).
Six of Crows is a book by Leigh Bardugo released in 2015. This book centers on a place called Ketterdam, a place filled with crooks, illegal shipping, and other illegal stuff that if I say my school might get mad at me. In the book, it enters some adult themes. If you decided to read The Finder of the Lucky Devil, then you would be okay.
I don't really have a favorite character, because one of the ways this book thrives is through character development. Most of the main characters get great character chapters, and build up in backstory, for every main character.
I do have a least favorite character, but that will be in the spoiler section.
I don't feel like getting into the characters that much, because I feel like that would take away some of the feels from their pasts, and with their current condition. But, I will give you the main story, because for some reason I didn't do that when I was talking about the setting.
A councilman wants to find the person who made a drug, a drug that powers people called Grisha. Grishas are people who have abilities to control fire, water, stop heartbeats, and blood flow.                    With the drug, the Grisha get even more power over the power they already have, but the cost of this is that they get heavily addicted to it. The councilman hires Kaz Brekker, from the Crow Club.
The councilman wants Kaz to find a way to get into a heavily guarded court to find the person making the drug. But, in order to get it, Kaz brings some members from the Crow Club, including his partner, Ineg or better called the Wraith.
Some of the people really didn't want to work with some of the people in it, but the money made things different, as they deal with other groups wanting the job, guards, and the past coming to haunt them.
The book is really great, it sets a world that simply works way too well. I would consider it to be almost like the world we live in today. I also know that the same author made a different series that might relate to this book called the Grisha Trilogy, I might read it after finishing the sequel to this book.
               Now, to the spoilers.

           You have been warned.
The group has to break into the Ice Court that is ran by the same government that Matthias, one of the people in the group, used to work for. Matthias really doesn't want to work with the people in the group, because Nina is in it.
Nina is a Grisha, a Heartrender to be exact, who caused Matthias to get into Hellgate, a prison where the prisoners fight, a lot. The reason why Kaz needs him is because Matthias knows the floor of the Ice Court, and Matthias hates Kaz. He literally calls him demon in his language.
Matthias shows the thought of a broken soldier, who had felt like he betrayed his people and his Gods. He also has the urge to kill Nina throughout the book. Fun fact, Matthias people really hate Grishas, they burn their bodies. And, at the near end of the book we find that Matthias government have been experimenting on Grishas with the drug.
              Like I said, spoilers.
But, the character I hate the most is Van Eck, the council man who hired Kaz. If I could use a curse word right now, that would be him. His son, Wylan, left his father side, and ran off to Ketterdam. Instead of just leaving his son alone, or going to get him.
He sends him letters, but here's the thing. HIS SON DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO READ. He is mocking his son at every turn. Even though his kid can make bombs, and is excellent at math, he mocks him for not being able to read.
That is all I want to talk about. Why don't you read this lovely book, and find your character that you simply hate. And, let me tell you. They actually get the guy, and Van Eck betrays them, and takes Inej. HE ALSO THREATENS TO TORTURE HER IF THEY DON'T GIVE THE GUY!!!!!
                 I hate this guy, bye............

More Stuff for School Part something.

“We must live, and when this is all over, we must work to make the world a better place. And if we die, we will die knowing that it was not our fault, that we did our best, and we can go to our deaths in dignity… I want you both to live…And to remember...You must choose love. Always choose love.”                   This was an excerpt from Daniel's Story , a book that my class is reading on the topic of the Holocaust, and this is the quote about love, something very dire and strict nowadays. A loving person can come in many forms or shapes, it can come in my imagination of someone who will listen, it can be a thought of love that has taken shape in your mind, and it can be all the other things that people may believe.                    What I am told to write about today is of someone in my life who has chosen love, whether they are in the movie or in real life. It will be hard to pick...

More Stuff for School

Dear Diary,                                                                                                 February 26th, 2018                               It has been a long time since I have written in a diary, the last time I written in one was when I had no one else to turn to for my problems. Well, this is a problem that I'd like to say. I'm sick.                               You would think that someone with an illness would be taken care of, yet I feel not being taken care of. I am stuck drinking evil medicine tea, headaches, and listening ...

My graduation speech

(I am about to graduate from middle school, and we got an assignment to post a speech on our blogs, so here!)             Here we are, getting ready to go to high school. We are all now looking behind in the past while still looking at the future. Planning on what we are going to do with our lives. But, I have just one message to tell you that involves to everyone in this room. Make something new. If this is the one thing that you remember about me, that would be great.            In this world that we are living in today, people tell us multiple times that we should get some sort of job that we hear constantly. When we ask their reasoning behind it, they say, "It has the best payment," or "You will have a good life." The people that want to have these jobs are excited to hear this, but the others? We should all know that we are not going to live forever that we are all going to die one day. There are two types of people, t...
